With all of the fast paced action it is important to choose a photographer that has experience.  Lighting conditions change rapidly and dealing with large groups of people is sometimes overwhelming for some photographers. Our philosophy is to capture the best photographs of your wedding in an unobtrusive manner. There are some photographs that all couples want in their collections that are posed.  For instance, the group shots of the bride and groom with their families and with the wedding party after the ceremony.  But the majority of the photographs should be taken naturally, without telling you where or how to look, these natural photographs really add life and drama to your wedding album and allow you to relive your wedding when viewing your album. In addition to the photography it is important to have your photographs protected and to select a display method that will enable you and your families to enjoy your wedding memories for generations.  As imaging professionals we have assisted hundreds of our customers in designing and assembling their wedding albums.

Complete wedding coverage, including all images, artistically arranged in a beautiful handmade album,  starts at $1595. and  can go up to $15,000.

We are fee-based photographers. That means you know the full price you will pay up front and going into the wedding. There is never any high-pressure sales technique. While some other photographers will sell you a low-priced initial package, they will have professional salespeople influence you to increase your order. Often, their overall prices are higher than ours.

We combine two different wedding styles, Traditional Coverage and Photojournalistic Coverage. 

The traditional style includes all of the wedding images you have come to expect in a traditional wedding album, including portraits of the Bride and Groom, attendants, family, as well as the traditional happenings at your wedding. 

The photojournalistic style is more of a storytelling style of wedding photography. It includes un-posed, spontaneous photographs during the wedding day. Unlike most photographers, we have a combination of the two styles. You will receive artistic images and albums which have a scenic quality and are emotionally charged. The images have a natural look with an artistic expression. Imagine, beautiful wedding photographs that capture what really happened at your wedding, instead of what the photographer made happen.

How do I book Jay-Cyn's Creations for my wedding?

A retainer of $500.00 is needed to secure your wedding date with us.

 

It depends on the wedding but on most we do have an assistant.

 

We have been a fulltime, full service studio for 15 years so it is of utmost importance that we have multiple cameras, lenses and flash units. Yes we have business, liability, health, equipment, disability and life insurance which by the way are not cheap!

We have been photographing weddings for 15 years and have found that no two weddings are alike. Some couples want full coverage others only a few hours. Some want beautiful wedding albums some just want to purchase a high resolution disk. We try to help our customers identify what they want and customize packages that will work with their budget. Therefore we do not post "set in stone pricing" which only leads customers to shop for price. Your wedding images will be the most important part of your wedding when you get back from your honeymoon. You want them to be of excellent quality, you want to relive your day through the images your photographer creates. 

It is imperative that you select a photographer that has the skill, experience and confidence to deliver the images you want and deserve. Choosing a photographer based on price is a recipe for disappointment.

 
When is the best time to have my Bridal Portrait and Engagement Portraits created?

If you want to have a Bridal Portrait on display at your reception you should schedule your portrait session at least a month in advance of the wedding. For engagement portraits we recommend six months prior to the wedding.
